Hi all,
How can I merge two excel documents, which are of the same layout etc. What's happened is that the same doc is used on two different sites, when one site opens the doc and edits and the other site opens the same doc whilst the main doc is open a copy of the main document is created. So as a result I have the main document and a copy of the main document.
What would be the basis of the merge? If two identical documents are edited separately and are now no longer identical, how would a macro know which to use row by row where differences exist? To a macro, they would be equally "valid". So how would you decide what to keep and what to toss?
