Monthly values linked with different start dates

Hello,

I am looking at a series of payments with different start dates. In one column is the start date (which I want to be able to change), and then the next column is month 1's payment, month 2's payment and so on going until month 60.

I also have a second chart with actual months as the column headers. The first header is 1/31/15, the second is 2/28/15, and so on.

I want to link the second chart to the first chart so that the payment shows up in the appropriate month. What is the best way to do this as each tab has different column headers?

If I use an If, Then statement I can have the first date load the value (i.e. if the current month equals the starting payment month, then show the value of that payment).

But the problem becomes how to show any subsequent payments.

PS I apologize for the strange title of this thread - I wasn't sure how to best explain it.

I tried three nested If then statements and thought I had it and it all fell apart.

Any help would be so greatly appreciated. It really would.
