Hi All, I wish Microsoft had not removed the Date Time Picker! I had this add-in installed & registered, and approved through our IT folks for use. I am attaching a sample worksheet to illustrate my problems. The date is to be entered by the user in cell C15 and downward on this sheet, but I cannot seem to make this happen. Also, in cell D15, there is a conditional format that says "in cell C15, if the date goes over the date mentioned in cell C117, then make that cell turn red." I have tried multiple angles in getting this date time picker to work seamlessly, but cannot. Can one of you Excel gurus help?
The objective?? To enable a date picker in cells C15:C115, where the user simply clicks on date time picker and enters the date. Each row may have a different or same date. Then in the D column, if the date exceeds the date mentioned in C117, then the cell turns red, which lets the user know that they are in the wrong quarterly worksheet. It seems that the conditional format does not recognize the date produced by the Date Time Picker.
One last issue, is the Date Time Picker does not hold its format for some reason. I CANNOT use VB. Sure would make life easier, but our IT guys will not allow at this time. Thanks!
