Angry How do I delete blank rows at the bottom of my data

Hi, I have a huge number of worksheets with a huge number of tabs which all scroll down to around 1,000,000 rows even though I only have around 5000 rows of data in each tab. I've googled and none of the proposed solutions work. The only thing that works is if I copy my data, create a new tab, then paste it in there. But I have to format it again etc and will take ages for hundreds of tabs. Is there a quicker way?

It's no good at the moment because it's extraordinarily difficult to get to a specific row eg if I try to get to the row 2000, I'm liable to go to 200,000 instead. And it's all jerky when I scroll down. And sometimes I get that ever circling circle and have to wait an eternity before excel does something.

not sure i'm following your issue. the usual way i get around a large amount of data is to hold down control and shift then hit the down arrow, this takes me to the bottom of my data.
a way to get to a specific cell quickly is to simply type that cell address in the blank area to the left of the function bar (fx). That takes you right there.

I think I've sorted it. Followed instructions of ACE XL from here:

Seemingly the only person on the Internet who knows how to delete blank rows in Excel!

Glad you found your solution. I've done what Ace recommended many times but I had trouble discerning that is what you needed from your narrative (probably my problem). I almost thought you wanted to only show the rows with data and no others. Don't forget to mark your post as solved AND, you are able to give kudos to ANY and ALL who've helped you here - ACE XL included even from that past post. I'm sure he'd appreciate it

This addin for Excel resets the last of your data and gets rid of excess formatting. I use it quite often and it works beautifully.

Nobody ever seems to understand what I'm talking about. That is despite being able to articulate myself vastly better than the average person. I have absolutely no idea what you couldn't understand in my original post. How much detail do I need to go into??
