    Can't break a link

When I open a file that says "This workbook contains Links to one or more external sources that could be unsafe. Update or Don't Update?" If I click Update it says "We can't update some of the links in you workbook right now. Continue or Edit Links?" When I click Edit Links, it shows me two links and one is no longer valid and needs to be broken, yet when I click Break Link, it does not delete or break the link. How do I get this link deleted?

    Thanks,
    RR

    Re: Can't break a link

Try opening the workbook without updating the links. Don't save at this stage. Try deleting the faulty link then try to save the file.

If you attach a sample of your workbook it will be easier to find a solution. Remember to remove/replace sensitive data before uploading the file. Look here if you need help with attachments:
