Post Sorting dates in week, month and YTD automatically using formula

    hey guys,
i have a problem here. Actually, i have a report where i have to display an average for last week,90 day moving and YTD and all i have is a claim amount and list of dates like below in excel:
    Name date claim
    Abc 11/21/2014 5000

    Bcd 11/14/2014 1000

    Def 10/30/2014 2344

    Fgh 10/27/2014 54444

    Ghi 10/22/2014 2322

    Hij 10/1/2014 9999

how i need to display the report is in different format which will have column of name, last week claim, 90 day moving claim and year to date claim...
how can i extract these datas from a date given in above table...
    thanks

    =MID(A1,5,10)+0

    extracts the dates

+0 turns the result into a number as the original content is a string

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

    Hi Meus.

    Welcome to the forum.
Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Also put your desired results.

Re: Sorting dates in week, month and YTD automatically using formula

I have attached the example file.
I need a formula or method to be able to display either the given data was made during last week or last month or last 3 months or so
on. it should be updated automatically, like user don't have to update it timely. once you make your final report, even after 5 month,
and by updating your raw data in source, it should be able to display which is of last week or last month and so on...

    Please do help me...
    Hoping for positive response....

Plz also fill up the Col under heading "Last Week", "90 Days", & "YTD" manually
to understand what data would you like to display here.
