Identify same UID in a list and mark just 1 of each

    Hi,

I have a list of items with of which some are repeated with identical UID's, I can easily identify the dulicates (as shown in column 'D') but would like to sort the enclosed example so that there is just 1 of each UID, as identified in column 'E'

    Any help apprecaited

    Hi there. Try this

    Formula: copy to clipboard

this is an array formula and must be set using CTRL + SHIFT + ENTER and not just enter. Excel will add the curly brackets. If they don't appear, hit F2 and try again.

    Hi Glenn,

Thanks for the reply and I can see that this formula lists all the unique UID's, however is it possible to either:-

    1. Add a marker against the unique UID as shown with the xx in field 'E'

    or

    2. Edit the formula to copy all the row data against each unique UID eg the data to the left and right of C006
    Carpet C006 Duplicate
