Provide permission to others to write, but not to edit in excel
Hello everyone, I have a doubt... is there any option in excel in order to protect the workbook from editing, but at the same time others should be able to add the data without able to edit the data. Could you help me on this...
In simple words, protect the workbook from editing but giving access to write.
Others should only able to write and once it is saved it can't be modified...

To answer your question, Only one user at the same time. Actually, I want to give an empty excel work book to my colleague to update the daily entries. I will place this excel in a common folder. If he updates today's entries and save it, then it should not be modified. He should not have the privilege to edit the entries. Again, next day he will start entering the data. My intention is there should not be any changes in the excel intentionally or un intentionally. If he wants to correct something, let him come to me to correct it.
