Excel...Active X Controls Failure. Is it fixed yet?

Is Microsoft ever going to fix the Active X Control that are now disabled with the new updates. I tried the online fixer http://support.microsoft.com/kb/3025036/EN-US and tried locating the temporary file and still am having trouble.

The fix has worked for me but it is still a lot of inconvenience. I cannot go and tell all my clients to locate and delete the temporary file.
Microsoft please resolve this fast.
