Is there a way to sum values in an index-match-match array with duplicate values in one of the criteria? For example, in row criteria of the total array, there are several duplicate values:
1 2
Food 100 200
Food 50 100
Drinks 10 20
I would like the formula to return:
1 2
Food 150 300
Drinks 10 20
Any help is appreciated!
hard to tell with your example but wouldnt sumif work for you?

In the real data set, I have tons of rows and columns so a dynamic formula would be great.

i think the sumproduct method is more what you are after
Re: unique list...note the extra space in "Drink " causes issues so if this happens in reality maybe you need to cleanse the Column A
