I have data in sheet 1 say nos. 1,2,3...etc
Now i need to copy these data in Sheet2 at regular intervals(gap of 5), ie, 1 at A1, 2 at A6....
Please suggest a way to this via an excel formula...

The information you have supplied isn't detailed enough. where are the data you want to copy FROM?
Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Only the names need to be copied to Sheet2 from Sheet 1.Rest values ($) can be done via vlookup.

Just one more query ..I have just changed the position of the data in both the sheets (Sheet 1 & 2). Couldnt make the formulas work post that !!!
Please help on this.
Many an answer fails because the real data and the sample data are not in the same position...
okay,, just missed that criteria..
