Hi Everyone,
I would like to have dynamic cell reference ie instead of having a set formula such as =countif(a1:d6,k5) have something where the cell number 1 and 6 is defined in other cells eg g1, g2.
can anyone help?
Thanks
Andre

Look into Indirect Formulas
I would study the syntax and logic of the statement as with any prior to real world use. Please Login or Register to view this content.
Cheers
EDIT - This is assuming G1 is says A1 and G2 says D6. That would then be the same as the original formula and of course can be changed there
-If you think you are done, Start over - ELeGault
If you have only row number in G1 & G2 Like, 1 in G1 and 6 in G2 TRY
=COUNTIF(INDIRECT("A"&G1&":D"&G2),K5)
Otherwise you can try with EleGault formula
