    Way to extract records from different sheets

    Hi Guys,

    I have attached a test spreadsheet,

    My question is - I need to extract/delete the records from the sheet 'numbers to extract from all' from the sheet named 'ALL', the column to look for that is the same is 'Number' (the first row in both sheets).

    Is there a way to do this?

    Thanks

    Hello
    So you basically want to delete all those rows in "number to extract from all sheet" whose numbers match with numbers in the "all" sheet??
    Am I right?

    Ohk
    Try this
    Just press the button on the second sheet...
    This works for 1000 rows and the macro uses column D in the second sheet form formula purpose (as a helper column-can be changed as per the requirement)......

    Hope it helps
    Do ask for any other query you may have…

    Sorry for misunderstanding your problem.....
    I think you need to extract the country names and the AZT.....
    For this vlookup function should work

    Re: Way to extract records from different sheets

    Ohk maybe you need this--
    B2 =VLOOKUP(A2,ALL!A:C,2,FALSE)
    C2 =VLOOKUP(A2,ALL!A:C,3,FALSE)
    they will search for the numbers in column A....match them with column A of "all" sheet and then will return the corresponding country and AZT ....
    If this is what you need....
    Sorry if again I got you wrong...

    Hope it helps
