Combine Numerous Excel Files from same Folder into one Excel File

Hi,

I have 70 excel files with the same column headers and number of columns with varying number of rows in each file. I need to take all 70 of these excel files and combine them into a single spreadsheet.

I was thinking a macro would be best but I have never used macro's and wasn't successful in finding on for excel files on the web...perhaps I dont have the correct terminology.

Thanks Dave. The excel files in my folder are actually excel binary worksheets. I converted one of them to the .xls and used the code and still didn't imported data into the spreadsheet.

Starting to run short on time, so looks like I'll have to do it the painful way. Need to learn how to use macro's and make these tasks easier in the future.
