    Welcome to the forum NKULHARA,

Unfortunately, your post did not give any clarity to what you re after.

All I can see is about 26,000 results ranging between 31.6 and 47.79 with an average of 36.43. As you say, they are displayed in a triangle shape.

You want a rectangle! How many columns?

Do you want the data to be read from the data provided into a rectangle, using a macro?
Should the data be read across the rows from left to right, one row at a time?

Please advise so that we know how to assist.

I hope this helps, please let me know!

    Regards,

    David

    thanks for reply David..
the number of row and column is not a matter, i just want to arrange it in rectangular array i.e. there should not be empty cells, so that i can use it in LabVIEW.

Re: arranging raw data in matrix form..

OK, so if I arrange it in a matrix which is, say 18 columns wide (A:S) by about 1500 rows will that do?

I have to go to a meeting now. Will look at it tomorrow.

    Regards,

    David

BTW - India had a disappointing summer here, but are doing well in the World Cup. Are you following?

    Here is your file back.

    matrix for nkulhara.xlsm

I have added a macro which converts the data into an array and places it on the LabVIEW tab.

Is this what you were looking for?

I hope this helps, please let me know!
