Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

    Re: Stat Sheet Help??

Here is one possible solution using named ranges for each bowler. All bowlers are in a table. As you add scores for each bowler, the max and minimums will change as the MAX and MIN scores are exceeded. Having been a bowler, I added an Average column to automatically calculate the averages too.

    Re: Stat Sheet Help??

Thanks fro the help last year. One new issue I have now is we want to exclude scores if you pre-bowl so in the formula you used can I change a cell to be ignored without changing the formula? So basically have the formula look for these changed cells and not count them if I want or use them if I want??

Please post an updated workbook so that we can see what you are working with.

(Remove private or sensitive data that shouldn't be published)

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
Click on Browse under Upload Files from your Computer and then find the file on your computer using the dialogue that opens. Click on Open then click on Upload. Click on Close this Window. Click on Submit.

Could I PM you the excel sheet because it may be easiest to explain seeing all my data and then if I have other issues?

    Thanks

    Re: Stat Sheet Help??

It would be best if you posted here as this is a public forum and you may receive solutions from others that you like. In addition, I don't know what solution you chose to use so I don't know what formulae you are referring to. If your data is "sensitive", replace the "sensitive" parts with replacement data.

My time is very limited and someone else may be able to help you just as well.

    Re: Stat Sheet Help??

    My issue is:

for the team awards tab equations(K3-8 and O3-8)which use(T13-Y13), I need to ignore the red numbers in the Totals Tab because the team pre-bowled (X18-23)(U34-39)(X34-39)
Currently I am just changing my formula (example unchanged (=MAX(TOTALS!T6:AG6,TOTALS!T8:AG8,TOTALS!T10:AG10)+COLUMN()/100000000000)

    Changed (=MAX(TOTALS!T19:W19,TOTALS!Y19:AG19,TOTALS!T21:W21,TOTALS!Y21:AG21,TOTALS!T23:W23,TOTALS!Y23:AG23)+COLUMN()/100000000000)

in the Scores tab I need to ignore the red numbers because the individual pre-bowled IE:

    Individual Awards Men Tab(E130-G130)(E190-G190)(E346-G346)(E358-G358)(E361-G361)(E449-G449)

    Individual Awards Women Tab(E160-G160)(E205-G205)(E316-G316)(E388-G388)(E391-G391)(E419-G419)

I would like to know if I can just add something to the formula or cells based on the exclusions this year without changing the formula??

    Re: Stat Sheet Help??

Your wanting to ignore the red coloured cells cannot be done with formulae as the colour of the values cannot be determined in formulae.

If you want a formula based solution, you will need to have some kind of identifier (other than formatting) to identify the pre-bowled games that can be used as criteria in formulae.

VBA might be able to be used to come to a solution. I am not conversant enough with VBA to give you a definitive answer.

    Good luck.
