error with time formatting for negative time

I'm doing simple time values, using 00:00 time format. when I calculate time difference, a negative time comes up #####. I just want to format the cell to return 0 or 0:00 instead of the #####s

I attempted =iferror(A2-A1,"0:00") but that doesn't work

any help appreciated
