Specific data from entire workbook to show sheet tabs that has this data

Looking for a formula that will show the sheets that contain certain data
Example:
AA is shown on sheet 1 sheet 2 and sheet 5

in a cell i want it to display sheet 1 sheet 2 sheet 5 indicating the sheets that have AA in it

Why not use an Index sheet that looks at these columns in certain sheets?

That was nice but i need to know what is on the sheets

AA is on sheets 1 3 6

that just gives me a quantity.

OK...This will show you what is in each row in column AA of each sheet...

You did not explain what you want to see from the sheets, numbers, text, a calculation, how much data, missing data...??
maybe you can post a sample of what you have, and on an extra sheet what you want to see. This would be helpful in trying to resolve your issue.

I read your post again, and determined that you just want to find the letters AA in certain sheets.
This example has different ways of giving you that answer. How many, that it found a certain number of AA's, and just that the sheet contains the letters AA. I hope one of these is useful to you.
