Parenthesis help needed

Good Day,

I want to use a formula to insert parenthesis into a cell that contains numbers. I have searched on Google but I cant find a solution.

For Example,

I have a number: 0435874226

I want to insert parenthesis in the following places

(043) 5874226.

Can anyone assist me with a solution to my problem?

With A1 is number, try in next cell B1:

="("&LEFT(A1,3)&") "&MID(A1,4,255)

New quick method:

How to mark a thread Solved
Go to the first post
Click edit
Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
Click Save
