    Amount of years/months from starting date until today

    Good Day

    Please could someone help me with this formula.
    I am need a formula that works out how many years and months it has been from a starting date until today .
    So if I open my spread sheet in the future it will tell me how many years and months have passed until the day I open the spreadsheet.

    Hi,

    Try this,

    =DATEDIF(A1,TODAY(),"y")&" Years, "&DATEDIF(A1,TODAY(),"ym")&" Months"

    where A1 contains your starting date.
    Rule 1: Never merge cells
    Rule 2: See rule 1
