Breaking Links

I am working in a large workbook that should have no external links. However, for one reason or another, there is one link that still shows up. This causes an error to pop up every time the workbook is opened. When trying to break the link, nothing happens and it still remains. Is there another way to break this link? Or a way to search the workbook for the cell that is linked? Please help!

    thanks

    Re: Breaking Links

Next time you open the WB, take note of what the link is, then do a search for that in all sheets

Also, check that there isnt perhaps a chart or a range that is still linked?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

    Re: Breaking Links

You might have a named range which is referring to some other workbook - use Formulas | Name Manager to check, and delete if necessary.

    Hope this helps.
