Importing from excel to outlook calender, all dates wrong

Hi there,

I am trying to import a development schedule into Outlook, everything is ok, except the dates. All events are 4 days maximum, but all the imported data events run from for example 4th October 2014 to May 2015.

All events seem to have been imported at this length. All the dates in the excel spread sheet are accurate as I spent 5 hours painstakingly adding them in and checking them.

Has anyone got any clues as to what might be wrong.

I am selecting all columns and rows and giving the selection a name.
Saving as CVS file and an .xls file for back up,

Then importing through the wizard onto a new Calender.
The dates are the normally formatted excel dates i.e. they come out as a date code when converted to a number or text.

Should I be exporting and importing in a different way?

SOLVED - Pilot error, sorry, Admins please delete this thread, there is nothing for anyone to learn from here I don't think.
