    transferring data sequentially

I'm doing quotes at work and I need to track the data, thus, transferring it to another spreadsheet. However, I don't want to move it manually each time. Every time I fill in a space I want it to move to my Other spreadsheet and go underneath the previous quote/info/data.

    How is this done ?

    Welcome to the forum.

Why do you need a copy? Each time you create a copy of data you introduce the possibility of errors either human or by an error in coding.

What will this copy do for you that can't be done from the original data directly.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

    Re: transferring data sequentially

    Hi,

As I do quotes I keep a log of each one by Company name,etc.. right now I have a LOG book 2015, and a Quote Spreadsheet. I just want to put in the info once in the spreadsheet data and have it transfer to both places. I suppose I can set it up similar to what I've already been doing by transferring to certain places on my spreadsheet,

Do you have a quicker idea. see attached. There is sheet 1 and 2.. I want the info from the quote to transfer to the log.

In your destinations, make references back to the source data. Excel doesn't "push" data to other sources the data is drawn from a source.

The books have to be open at the same time.
