Hi,
I've attached a sample workbook with 2 sheets. In all cells in column F of Sheet2, I want to return a text value using the following logic:
If Sheet2:B(Current row) is not found in Sheet1:ColumnB
return "New"
Else if Sheet2:Current row is found in Sheet1 (Row# may be different but contents of A-E are the same in both sheets)
return "No change required"
Else
return "Investigation required"
Any help appreciated.

Try this Array Formula which requires confirmation with Ctrl+Shift+Enter instead of Enter alone.
In F2
and copy down.

Remember an Array Formula is confirmed by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to activate the array, not just ENTER. You will know the array is active when you see curly braces { } appear around your formula. If you do not CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER you will get an error or a clearly incorrect answer. Press F2 on that cell and try again.
