    Question simplifying Sumifs with OR function

    Hi All,

    I have a SUMIF function such as the following;

    Formula: copy to clipboard

    What I think I want to do is the following;

    Formula: copy to clipboard
    Please Login or Register to view this content.

    But somehow using the OR function in this manner does not work. Essentially I want to sumif the 3rd criteria in my function is equal to "MGA" or "CWY".

    Obviously I can achieve this the long way with the following;

    Formula: copy to clipboard

    But, can someone advise me on a shorter way of doing this or how I can actually make the AND/OR functions work to achieve this.

    Cheers,

    Spicey

    Cheers pickslides.

    Nisha, there should be no requirement for the excel file as this problem is independant of which cells to reference, it is more to gain understanding of the correct syntax. I see no benefit in uploading this file.

    Cheers,

    Spicey
