linked image prints black cells in blank areas

I think I know what is going on here, but I cannot think of a workaround. If you click on the Master Census Sheet and find column S, you will see that several patients have not been assigned to a cart (S, D, or C). As it is this workbook will print just fine however if I were to enter a S, C, or D into say S2 all of a sudden my linked table (A25:W43ish) on the "Coast" sheet will show blank cells filled in with black on the print preview

(the data goes from Master Census Sheet to Coast sheet column AB2:AB9, then to the original table found on Coast sheet at AF43:BS66. From there the linked table at A25:W43ish on the Coast sheet displays it.)

Yes, it does carry through to the final print as well on Excel 2007. On Excel 2010 this problem seems to not exist. Work has 2007 so I am contemplated a complete overhaul, which would take some time. I just wanted to check if there was a work around first.

    Please advise
