Remove data from sheet 2 and 3 once entered in sheet 1

    Good Day,

I am looking to be able to have data removed(or highlighted) on sheets 2 and 3 when I enter that specific data into sheet one. I just want to make sure I am able to look at sheet two or three and see that the data has been entered in sheet one so not to duplicate it on sheet one.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Skiman

    Hi

How can you use Conditional Formating.

--In Excel 2007 and 2010, Conditional Formatting is in the Styles group on the Home tab. In Excel 2003, Conditional Formatting is on the Format menu. See here how you can work using CF.

I'm not sure if I can do this but I have a follow up to this.

If there is data located all over sheets 2 and 3(not just one column), could data be pulled from all over the sheet instead of only one column? Is this a simple adjustment to include the entire sheet? And I would like to be able to enter the searchable data(sheet 1) anywhere on that sheet.
