    datewise average and maximum values

    Hi team
I have an excel sheet attached which has the readings of the license usage.
It has 26 readings every day.

Excel has below columns and this is a contentiously growing excel sheet as it collects the readings daily.
Date , Time, Day & used licenses
It collects 26 readings every day.

But now I want to make the readings as below

Date,Day,Average License in use, Maximum Licenses in use

Pls suggest the way how can i work out it.

    Many thanks for your help.

    Regards
    Sachin

Yes , this is what I want, but kindly explain how did u achieve it in pivot table.
I tried but can not manage.
Well I want to have this result dynamically as my sheet is continuously.

Re: datewise average and maximum values

Maybe this workbook will help you with the pivot table that shg showed you. You should be able to see how it was done. On the Design Tab, Subtotals and Grand Totals were turned off and the Layout was chosen to be Show in Tabular Form.
