    Function Arguments Display Distortion

Can anyone explain why this display distortion happens when entering multiple arguments?

    Capture.JPG

This is an If / Or formula and this distortion happens after the third value ...
I start with the IF formula. Then at the "logical_test" field I insert the OR function.
Then inserting a value at the Logical1, Logical2, Logical3 ... the distortion appears...

    Hi Manos,

I tried the same but I don't see anything on my system. Could you attach something, some sample workbook to check further??

Also, It seems you are using OR not IF

    Re: Function Arguments Display Distortion

    Hi Nisha,

    Thanks for your reply.

I am using a COMBINATION of If + Or functions.

I start with the "If function".

Then at the Logical1 of the "If Function" I insert the "Or Function".

After the third value "Logical3" the table distorts ...

If I use ONLY the "Or function" there is no distortion, like on your system.

    Capture 1.JPG

What exactly could I attach to reproduce this issue on your system? It is not an Excel sheet problem ...

The whole formula might help rather than the smaller inner sections.

Can you reproduce that specific layout on your system?

I am asking you because I have seen the same problem on other computers running Office 2010.

    Thanks

    Re: Function Arguments Display Distortion

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

A description of your computer would also be of value as this could very well be a matter of too little graphics power not allowing the monitor to refresh properly.

NO Need to use a formula. Just move the cursor inside the Function Arguments Table.

    Re: Function Arguments Display Distortion

Most (nearly all) distortion problems that I have seen are due to hardware not being up to the task of redrawing the screen properly.
