    Conditional Formatting if columns don't match

    Hello All,

    Please see attached. Book4.xlsx

    I would like for columns B and C to highlight a color if they do not match. Example provided in row 7.

    hi morerockin. select the range you want to apply to (say from B2:C7)
    in Excel 2007 & above, go to Home -> Conditional Formatting -> New Rule -> Use a formula to determine which cells to format -> Format values where this formula is true:
    =$B2<>$C2

    format the colour you desire

    You already have CF applied there, you just need to change the rule formula to this...
    =$B2<>$C2

    And if you dont want A highlighted, remove it from the Applies To range
