Data Scraper

Hi,

I am wondering if someone can give me some support -

I am looking for information around how to develop a Data Scraping script. IE; it is my intention to scape data from Google regarding restaurants, including:

- Restaurant Name
- Restaurant Email Address
- Restaurant Location
- Restaurant Contact #

Data mining is what you want. Google it and there are many hits. I don't think that Excel is the tool that you should use.

Please can you suggest an appropriate program? - I tried WebHarvy, phenomenal piece of software. However, it is limited on the trial version and I am a little reluctant to fully purchase the software at this stage.

Is there something of a similar nature that is restriction-free without purchasing a license?

Here is a site that claims to list 50 alternatives to WebHarvy. Finding what you want is a matter of doing the searches and seeing what is out there.
