I want to find the 'week' of a season for a sports schedule. The 'weeks' will start on Sunday, so any game played before the next Saturday wil be in the same week.
In the example I am looking to return the values as shown in column "G".

Based on your sample, try this, copied down...
=WEEKNUM(E2)-14

For some reason I am unable to get it to work with a different set of dates.
See column "P". I wants to start with the first week number as a 0 rather that a 1.

I used -14 because you had started in week 15 and wanted to show 1. If you need to show 0, use -15 instead
