Copy and paste from Vertical to Horizontal

    Hi all,

I find the below thread & I am curious to know if there is a single formula which will copy vertical to horizontal & horizontal to vertical.

    http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...orizontal.html

As a newbie; I don't know if its legitimate to ask the question by referencing old link.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Regards,
    Vikas

Ye, there are ways to do this. If you have any specific examples - then please post them in a new thread.

Agree w/Glenn. That said, I have found this helpful for going from vertical data to horizontal =INDEX($A1:B10,,COLUMNS($A:B)) and this one going from horizontal to vertical =INDEX($1:$1,ROWS($2:2))
HOWEVER, that being said, this can work with tweaks OR it may not, it depends on your data, that is why as Glenn noted, samples go a long way to getting the specific help you need.
Lastly, if you look below in this post there is a box titled similar threads, you might find something on one of them that you can adapt.
