When I unhid columns, the data was deleted

I was recently working in a workbook and hid some columns, about 10. When they were unhidden, 5 came back with the data that I had in those column, but the data was deleted from the other 5 columns. I have not been able to figure out how to get it back. Can anyone help?!

If you're saved, closed, and reopened the worbook, they are gone. Otherwise, Ctrl+Z.

go in to your documents folder, right click and hit restore previous versions, if there are previous versions it will show up there and you could hope that it wil have all the data in it
