Cool Hide cell content but keep filter possibility...

    Good afternoon Excel freaks...

    I need some help...
The company I work for requested me to create a client list.
The list will contain about 60.000 lines of data.

I compiled the list and added some macro's
(which i removed from the attached sample file)
One of the macro's filters the data with a split on country.

I have a background in the excel file and the request of one of the managers is to hide the cell contents.
I tried to use "Format Cell's -- Customs -- ;;;" method but this way the filter option cannot be used anymore as the filter thinks the sheet is blank.

Is there a way to keep the background, hide the cell content and keep the filter possibility.

PLEASE HELP A N00B ON HIS WAY...

Format the text colour to be exactly the same as the background and the cell contents will seemingly disappear but they are still there. What cells are you wanting to hide and what is the purpose of hiding them? Are they to remain hidden when the filter is applied or are there conditions where those cells' contents should become visible?

    The purpose is pure esthetics...
The manager doesn't want to see the data only the background.

The background in the Client list has to many colours to edit the text colour.
    It would be near impossible.

If there is a workarround to show the cell data only if/when the filter is applied.
It a viable option I could sell the manager.

What you want "might" be possible with VBA but not with worksheet functions.

You could experiment with blank rows like this example workbook. The blank has the background colour and no text. The other values have the background colour and text. When a value is chosen in the filter, that value appears. You could record a macro to bring up the filter and then reset it to blanks.
