    Re: How to get data from another sheet

    b2 = Vlookup($A4,Sheet3!$A$41:$L$48,3,0)

    e4 = VLookup($A4,Sheet3!$A$41:$L$48,12,0)

    see the attached file.
    Notice my main language is not English.

    I appreciate it, if you reply on my solution.

    Here's another way. I have assumed that you are using Excel 2007 or later, since you have attached an XLSX.

    @mr oeldere
    I have seen the attachment file...but when I drag all the formula down, the cell that not have number in the 3rd Sheet become #N/A ?
    can it keep just becoming 0 ?
    tq

    Grrr!!. I could kick myself. It took me ages to figure out what was wrong with my formula for your last Q, on sheet 1. The sales mananger's names were different. They had gained an extra 0.

    In one place, you had asked for total SALES ande in another, for total COMMISSION. This formula will return total SALES. If that's not right, changes B to C, F to G and J to K in this formula:

    =SUM(SUMIF(INDIRECT({"'Sheet2'!$E$4:$E$34","'Sheet2'!$I$4:$I$34","'Sheet2'!$M$4:$M$34"}),Sheet1!D4,INDIRECT({"'Sheet2'!$B$4:$B$34","'Sheet2'!$F$4:$F$34","'Sheet2'!$J$4:$J$34"})))

    add a iferror to the formula.

    b2= Iferror(Vlookup($A4,Sheet3!$A$41:$L$48,3,0),"")

    Re: How to get data from another sheet

    No problem. I should have spotted it immediately. I was convinced that I had made a mistake in the sybntax of the INDIRECT formula.

    Anyway... glad to have helped! If that takes care of your original question, please select Thread Tools from the menu link above and mark this thread as SOLVED. It'd also be appreciated if you were to click the add Reputation button at the foot of any of the posts of those who helped you reach a solution.
