    Conditional formatting( 3 different)

    Hey Pals!
    I have a column which has price ranging from 100 to 5000...
    What i want to do is that, if the price range is <1000, put red colour, >=1000 and < 2000 yellow... and for >3000 Green colour..
    Please help someone .......

    Refer the attached sheet.


    The last criteria should be >=2000.
    If it is above 3000, the cells which has a range 2000-2999 will not have any impact.

    i see you have excel 2010+
    so traffic lights is the way to go

    meus, Good evening.

    Select cells you want to format.
    Conditional Format Menu --> Using Formula

    Suppose colunm D is your colunm.

    Rule 1
    =D1>=2000
    Fill format colour GREEN

    Rule 2
    =AND(D1>=1000;D1<2000)
    Fill format colour YELLOW

    Rule 3
    =D1<1000
    Fill format colour RED

    OK
