double post delete

hi,
just had a glitch in my internet connection somehow and the page resent twice so i ended up with a double post. i noticed when i hover over the edit post button it says edit/delete, I'm wondering if this actually means that i can delete the extra post myself from within the edit screen because i couldn't see a way to do it myself?

Re: double post delete

I don't think so - just edit the text to something like 'double-posted in error - deleted'.

Re: double post delete

almostgenius, it does happen from time to time that the forum hiccups and you end up with a double-post - often it is obvious that the duplicate is forum-induced - almost teh same time/exact same text. It's not a biggy, just edit the 2nd 1 and replace what you typed with something like "deleted my duplicate post".

If it is a duplicate thread, just make s similar type of comment and mark it SOLVED
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Regards
Ford
