# Sum if date falls between two dates

1. ## Sum if date falls between two dates

Hi,

I have an excel formula which currently works where it looks at a date and then matches it to the appropriate column if the date falls between the start and end date.

What I would like to do is improve on this formula to add in the following scenarios:
1. All rows are summed (rows 7-9 on the example)
2. If column G contains a “Yes” then bring in this element also taking into consideration the reversal date and amount

2. ## Re: Sum if date falls between two dates

Hi,

In cell H16 dragged down and accross I achieved it with this:
=SUMIFS(\$F\$7:\$F\$9,\$E\$7:\$E\$9,">="&H\$14,\$E\$7:\$E\$9,"<="&H\$15,\$C\$7:\$C\$9,\$C16)+SUMIFS(\$I\$7:\$I\$9,\$H\$7:\$H\$9,">="&H\$14,\$H\$7:\$H\$9,"<="&H\$15,\$C\$7:\$C\$9,\$C16)

However I am wondering if there is a cleaner way to achieve this?
