Cells losing formatting when saved as csv

    Hi

I have a sheet that needs to be saved as a .csv file to be read by another program.
I have 2 columns that need to be formatted as number with 2 decimal places eg 101.20
but when it's saved as a .csv it loses the formatting and becomes 101.2 (now I know this is the same number, but the other program needs the extra zero to still show and be saved as a number format)
is this just something that can't be done because of the .csv file?

    thanks

CSV are comma separated variable files, that's data separated by commas, they do not store cell formats.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

Have you tried converting the numbers to text and then saving file as csv?

To check if formate is right open file with "Notepad"
