Conditional Formatting - Keyword and Formula

Hi,

I have the following that I am having trouble to figure out.

1. I have a table that is manual entry. 6 rows 4 columns.
2. At the end of each row within the table there is an already populated target (column 4).
3. Above the table is a cell that has a Keyword.
4. Based on the keyword the conditions differ.
5. The conditions are either; < or > 5%
or +/- £

I trust this explains everything.

Any help appreciated.

For me, not really

What are the key words?
What are the targets?
What is the range?
What are the rules?

I suggest you upload a small (clean) sample workbook (not a pic) of what you are working with, and what your expected outcome would look like.
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you

Regards
Ford

Attached File

Based on the key
word the targets will change and thus will the criteria, this I can sort all ok.

If the keyword is Ford, the target changes but for this I need to be within + or - £50.00 for the average cost
If the keyword is Vauxhall, the target changes but for this I need to be within + or - £100.00 for the average cost
Again Mercedes will differ.

For the paint ratio the criteria is based on < or > 5% but again this will differ for all three keywords.

I trust this helps clear up my initial post.

OK, before I even start working on your answer - why do you feel the need to merge cells like that? Merge causes all sorts of problems with formulas, and there are generally much better ways of achieving the cosmetic appearance

Which average cost...YTD? Last mth? MTD?

Please add some values in, and some sample answers, so I can see what you want

Just always found it easier to achieve the layout required, no real reason otherwise.
