I have a workbook in ".xls" format (and would like to keep it in that one) with several macros. Every time i create a drop down list after reopening file list is gone (no formating in required cell).
Has any of you experience such problem?

P.S. I have noticed that this only happens when referencing to another sheet.

In Excel 2003 (and files using that format, i.e. '.xls' files), you can't create a drop-down list from a list on another sheet. If you want to do this, you need to use the '.xlsx' (2007+) file format. You'll have to put the list somewhere on the same sheet, I'm afraid.

If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.

You can use the ActiveX list. Use "linked cell" to reference your previous data validation point.
