I select all the cells and click Trace Dependents or Trace Precedents and It says "The Trace Precedents command requires that the active cell contain a formula which includes valid references." So I can't make Formula Auditing. Why?

The active cell is just one of the selected cells - the top left by default. This might not contain a valid formula.
