Hi.
I have a document where I need to copy and Excel chart and paste as a link into a Word doc, so that it updates. This works fine on the tables, but there is also a chart I paste in in the same manner. When I close and reopen the document, the chart is missing and there is a text field saying "Error No Topic Specified"
Any ideas?
I suggest checking that Word is retaining the full file path - sometimes, for no reason that I know of, the link 'loses' the path. Try updating the link with the full path.

If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.

Nope, still getting a missing chart and an error message in Word.

I've tried a few link-pasting options to try to recreate this, but the chart isn't disappearing for me. It's possible that there's a bug which has been fixed between 2007 and 2010. How exactly are you doing the pasting of the link?
Copying from Excel and using Paste Special in Word, selecting Microsoft Office Excel Chart Object and ticking Paste Link. This is being done over Citrix, with both Word and Excel open from the same Citrix server.

Sorry, I can't recreate the problem, which implies it's either a 2007 problem (I'm on 2010) or a Citrix issue. I suggest you try doing the same thing with the two files on your computer, not the server, which should tell you if it's a server issue. Sorry I can't be more help.
Edit: I tried searching for 'excel 2007 word error "no topic specified" citrix' and got only one result, which may or may not be relevant, as it talks about the error occurring between Access and Word, not Excel and Word - but it does imply that the problem might be caused by a link across a network.
