    Copy and paste top row

I have two columns need to modify in huge excel sheet,I have simplified sample file attached. There are multiple lines of data by date in a single cell for each customer input Column A and another column B has single updated information for current status. What I need to do is for each given day copy the singe update from column B to the top of Column A cell to maintain history. There are two many rows here,Is there any easy way around other than ALT+Enter and copy single row and paste. Thanks

Is this what you meant? Make sure that the result column is set to wrap text...

    =C2&CHAR(10)&B2

Thanks for the rep, BtW. That's the sort of thing you may be able to do using VBA. You cant do it with a regular formula as the cell can't refer to itself.
