Go to the 'View' tab and click 'New Window', then click 'Arrange All' and select 'Vertical'. This will give you two windows on to the same file which you can scroll independently, but they're still the same file (anything you type into either window will appear automatically in the other one too).
If you're working in 2003, then you'll find the options on the 'Window' menu (first 'New Window' then 'Arrange → Vertical').
Hope that does what you want.

I recently started a new job so am a bit busy and may not reply quickly. Sorry - it's not personal - I will reply eventually.
If your problem is solved, please go to 'Thread Tools' above your first post and 'Mark this Thread as Solved'.
If you use commas as your decimal separator (1,23 instead of 1.23) then please replace commas with semi-colons in your formulae.
You don't need to give me rep if I helped, but a thank-you is nice.
I'd like to thank you very much Aardigspook
although both windows appear, but this is not exactly what I need.
I want either windows to be completely independent but also both simultaneously appear on the same page.when I scroll one, the other doesn't, and vice versa.
please for you feedback

Please anybody who can help....?
Say you want to split between columns J and K, and rows 10 and 11. Select cell K11, then click Split.
If you split the window, I dontthink there ios a way to have them behave indipendanyly of each other
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools
3. Click on the star if you think someone helped you
