Smile Index - Match formula not giving me an expected result

Hello, could some please be kind enough to assist me with the following Excel 2003 (Windows XP) Index - Match query?

In Cell B16 (Sheet1) is the following formula:

I was expecting the result to be: #N/A

Please refer to my attached spreadsheet.

Is there something wrong in my formula?

    Kind regards,

You are looking for 1022 in column A

It exists in column A so why are you expecting N/A?

Then you are after the 11th Item in the range D2:D16 which is D12 which is 16.

your formula should change from... =INDEX(Sheet2!$D$2:$D$12,MATCH(Sheet1!A16,$A$2:$A$12,0)) to =INDEX(Sheet2!$D$2:$D$12,MATCH(Sheet1!A16,Sheet2!$A$2:$A$12,0))
