number pages in the corner

Hello friends!

Is there a way to number the pages in the corner like in a book? I mean odd pages in the right footer and for even pages on the left footer, w/o using VBA ?

Go to insert Tab click header footer option there you will find custom header and custom footer tab
at the top after clicking custom header it will ask you for odd page header or a even page header and similar for footer also

Anyway I know how to insert header and footer, through View - Header and Footer. Then I click on Custom Footer but it doesn't ask me for odd/even pages... What am I missing? The server that I'm working on has a Office 2003 SP3.
