    Date format issue

    HI,

    I have one data in which dates are having the diffrent formats and when trying to change the date it is not reflecting.

    I want to calculate the difference of date with respect to current date but due to some issue it is not happening.

    Is any tool which can be used to make the date or time format in same manner.?

    Sheet is attached for your ref.

    Re: Date format issue

    Col A and B are text looking like dates. Select the first column Data - Text to columns - Finish - Format as required
    Same with the other

    Hi Manish

    Try

    D2=ROUND(C2-TEXT(A2,"DD.MM.YYY HH:MM")+0,2)

    Re: Date format issue

    may be you need to check your calculation mode, as it may be set to manual
    go to formula tab in last section see the calculation and set it to automatic

    Re: Date format issue

    My suggestion under post #2 works perfectly for me.
    You can only apply this technique to ONE column at a time
