    Another Date format issue

I have a workbook, with a custom data entry form used to complete a series of cells in two worksheets. When checking the date fields on the worksheets, the date is formatting to US date format ie 04/08/10 instead of 08/04/10 - I have selected the column and formatted the cells the choose the correct date format, but excel chooses to ignore this.

Should this formatting be applied in the VBA side of things or is it a simple formatting error that I cant see. I know there is the 'TEXT' function which applies the correct formatting but I'm not sure of the correct syntax to use.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    John

If your dates are in one column, select the range Select menu data then text to columns - Check " defined" press twice Next. Select DMY ( or MDY) as date format ( box in the upper right corner. OK
